A long and tougher route, this expedition will bring you through Western Tibet, one of the most deserted places on earth. Do not let the harsh road conditions or distance put you off though. It will be difficult to find similar sights and sites anywhere else.

Heading off from Lhasa, the capital city of Tibet, this expedition will bring you westwards through Shigatse Prefecture, Ngari Prefecture (also known as Ali Prefecture), and cross the Kunlun mountains to enter Xinjiang via the ancient city of Kashgar.

This is a great expedition to experience the cultures of two religions – Buddhism and Islam.
