RuoErGai (若尔盖), a county in northern SiChuan, is home to the massive RuoErGai grasslands (若尔盖大草原), the 2nd largest of its kind in China, nd the largest wetland reserves (湿地)  in China.  At the town of TangKe (唐克), is where you will send the beautiful Nine-bends of the Yellow River, HuangHe JiuQu, Nine-bends of the Yellow River (黄河九曲)

HuangHe (黄河), or Yellow River, is the 2nd longest river in China, & 6th in the world at over 5400km.  This trip to HuangHe JiuQu, or nine-bends in TangKe county, near to the source of the river which originates in QingHai province.  During the summer months from July-September, vast grasslands & beautiful flowers sprout in the wetlands.  The locals said it is the most beautiful time of the year.

Pearl Flowers in JinChuan

JinChuan, home of the beautiful Pear Flowers is also an important strategic town during the Red Army long march.  In the months from end March to early April, JinChuan is filled with beautiful white pear flowers.

Every year in late March, we will have another photography trip to JinChuan to see Pear Flowers (金川梨花).  See picture below.

RuoErGai HuaHu or Flower Lake, which will have fields of colourful flowers during the summer months from Jul-Sep.

This attraction is en-route to LangMuSi, or Langmu monastery, a unique Tibetan monastery that is divided into 2 parts, 1 half in SiChuan & the other half in GanSu by the BaiLong River.  It belongs to the Gelupak, or yellow-sect of the Tibetan Buddhism.  Enroute to this attraction is the famous DaGu glacier.

Another attraction is DaZangSi, or Dazang Monastery, a secluded monastery up in the mountains about 60km from MaErKang.
