Said to be one of the most beautiful treks in China, at the right season. The area from Lugu Lake (YunNan) to DaoCheng Yading (SiChuan) is home to diverse groups of ethnic minorities. As you trek amidst snow mountains, primeval forests, lakes and grasslands, you will pass by many charming villages and meet villagers of various ethnic groups with their distinct costumes, language and culture. The average altitude is 3000m and you will be crossing high passes of over 4500m. Facilities are very basic. However, you will truly feel the rejuvenating power of nature in such untouched wilderness.

Minya Konka at 7556m is the highest peak in SiChuan and part of the DaXue Mountain range.
Konka meaning ‘ice’ and ‘white’ says it all, the pyramidal peak with steep slopes is perpetually covered in ice and snow. There are 159 glaciers around this icy region, most of them more than 100m in thickness!
This is a long trek on various terrains. You will walk past rivers, lakes, glaciers, grasslands and forests. You will visit isolated monasteries, camp by lakes and live in rustic villages. Enjoy the stunning views and the warm hospitality of the Tibetans and other locals! Interestingly the Minya people are descendents of the aristocrats of the powerful Xia Empire (11th-13th century) who fled to parts of SiChuan/Tibet after the empire was destroyed.

An easy to medium trek in one of the most pristine spot in SiChuan. Mt Genyen is an isolated mountain massif surrounded by the vast grassland of LiTang – the heart of Kham. The mountain has an important role in Tibetan Buddhism. The monks of Rangu Monastery at the foot of the mountain are fierce protectors of her divinity. A world of unspoiled villages, hidden valleys, marvelous forests, waterfalls and holy lakes awaits you on this trek. You will have time to linger and enjoy. It takes 2 days from ChengDu to reach this untouched spot. For many centuries, traders exchanged Chinese Tea and Tibetan horses along the ancient ‘tea & horse caravan road’. This busy trade route was formed by Tang Dynasty and connected YunNan to Tibet, Burma, Nepal and India. Lesser known than the Silk Route, the ‘tea-horse-route’ is equally significant as a bridge between east and west. Experience these trails. Trip starts from the Old Town of LiJiang. You will trek along Tiger Leaping Gorge, a deep gorge sandwiched between the towering HaBa Snow Mountain and YuLong Snow Mountain. You will visit the old Tibetan town of Shangri-la and trek at the foot of MeiLi Snow Mountain exploring the pristine and untouched region around the sacred mountain.

This trip starts from the remote region around NuJiang (Salween), one of the 3 great rivers cutting through Northwest YunNan. A sizeable Catholic Tibetan community lives here, and you will find churches and vineyards amidst monasteries and stupas. Trek to various villages and explore the unique cultures of different people (Dai, DuLong, Caltholic Tibetan). Our main trek is the crossing of the imposing mountains separating NuJiang from LanCang Jiang. Trail taken depends on season, but both are beautiful with quaint villages, rustic churches, shepherds and their animals, grasslands, rivers and snow peaks.

Kanas lies in Burjin county in the northernmost part of XinJiang. Resembling Southern Siberia in climate, it is a place of snow peaks, glaciers, alpine forests and lakes. Winter last for 7 months here! The vast forests of birch trees and conifers are dazzling in autumn as the leaves change their colors. Nomadic people like the Kazakhs and Mongolians have made their home here since ancient times. You will trek in the vicinity around Lake Kanas, a beautiful crescent shaped alpine lake. Visit the secluded village of the mysterious Tuvans who live in log cabins. It was said that Tuvans were descendents of the army of Genghis Khan.

Mac Lehose Trail is a 100km hiking trail that traverses much of the New Territories from Sai Kung district in the east to Tuen Mun in the west. It is named after the longest serving governor of Hong Kong, Mac Lehose, who himself was an avid hiker. The trail is divided in 10 stages of various difficulty levels. Here, you will find ocean coastlines, cliffs and coves; a totally different experience from the hustle and bustle of urban Kong Kong. Our itinerary is designed to encourage amateurs to explore trekking. A combination of city delights and rural rejuvenation!
